Dr. Reinhard Kitzberger is a specialist in internal medicine. Cardiology, gastroenterology, thyroid diseases and internal intensive care medicine are his main areas of expertise. In addition, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, he has repented numerous patients in infectious diseases.

As an intensive care physician, he is used to viewing patients holistically and not reducing them to one organ system. Interdisciplinary cooperation is very important to him in this context. Especially in the field of internal medicine, patients can be treated with drug or non-drug therapies. Sometimes interventions such as surgery are necessary, for example the use of a pacemaker. Preventive examinations make it possible to detect organic diseases at an early stage.

In his spare time, Dr. Reinhard Kitzberger devotes himself to the Feldenkrais method and the Alexander technique. Functional relaxation and psychosomatic self-regulation are areas that interest him in the context of pain therapy.
