For us to stay fit and healthy, the human body needs essential nutrients every day. The body only needs some of them in small quantities, but their significance is all the more important. Micronutrients such as vitamins, minerals and trace elements are responsible for many metabolic processes such as cell renewal, metabolism and maintaining organ function. For example, zinc is involved in over 200 such processes.

When nutrition is not enough
Many micronutrients are found in food. With a balanced diet of vegetables, fruits, animal products and carbohydrates, most should be covered.
However, when your body requires more of these micronutrients due to physical stress (e.g. training or illness) or even mental health issues, food is not always enough. This is because the body cannot produce most micronutrients itself; it relies on an external supply. If you are nutrient deficient, you can target the body with IV nutrition therapy. IV nutrition therapy is also useful for patients with chronic gastrointestinal disorders, as oral nutritional supplements often cannot be absorbed well from the intestine into the bloodstream.
IV nutrition therapy is a proven treatment that provides the human body with essential minerals and vitamins. The high-dose active ingredients directly enter the human body with an IV and can then be distributed immediately throughout the body and quickly reach their site of action in the cells. Nutrient deficiencies are therefore quickly and efficiently eliminated, and ailments can be treated simply and effectively. Those who have a micronutrient deficiency may especially be more susceptible to infection and inflammation, have digestive problems or low energy levels.
With IV nutrition therapy, many more micronutrients can be absorbed than what is possible from your daily diet. In addition, the substances going into the body enter the bloodstream directly and are quickly distributed throughout the body. Where they are needed, they can have a direct effect on the undersupplied cell and metabolic processes. Excess nutrients that are no longer needed by the body are flushed out in small amounts through the GI tract.
As the name micronutrient implies, only a few of them are present in food. Certain diseases or taking certain medications can reduce the absorption of these essential substances. IV nutrition therapy can skip the arduous absorption step through the GI tract. By intravenous injection, the micronutrients directly enter the body and can have a targeted effect.

Idividual IV nutrition therapy at Trinicum
For IV nutrition therapy to have its desired effect, it is important to take a detailed medical history. We then advise you to take a blood test to check for nutritional deficiencies so that we can provide targeted therapy. After a detailed assessment, other treatment options may be recommended, as well as IV nutrition therapy.
Depending on the patient and their symptoms, a custom blend of nutrients is put together, which is specifically tailored to their problems and best supports the body. We will discuss your treatment and therapy plan with you in detail. One session will last around 30 to 45 minutes.
