A segment is an area supplied by the spinal nerve (spinal nerve), consisting of skin and the underlying structures such as muscles, nerves, vessels, bones, and organs. Various circumstances, such as accidents or postural damage, can lead to damage in this area.

Gentle treatment for more vitality

In segment therapy, changes in the body surface are localized using a tactile examination. In a second step, the affected back segments are treated. Various massage and stroking techniques are employed.

The goal of TRINICUM segment therapy is to improve blood circulation in the affected region. This enhances the supply of the affected tissue and promotes the body's self-healing.

Segment therapy is applied for:
  • Asthma, chronic bronchitis, COPD
  • Musculoskeletal complaints
  • Chronic bladder inflammation
  • Chronic gastritis
  • Circulatory disorders, high blood pressure
  • Functional organ complaints (e.g., heartburn, constipation, irritable bowel)
  • Heart rhythm disorders
  • Headaches, migraines
  • Menstrual complaints, cycle issues
  • Dizziness
  • Sports injuries (e.g., fractures, ligament tears in the arm or leg)

How does a treatment proceed?

During the first treatment, a tactile examination is conducted first. As the first step, the sensitivity of the skin is tested with a metal rod. The patient may feel a tingling or itching sensation in the affected segment. Afterwards, the skin texture is manually checked, and the underlying muscle is palpated.
Subsequently, in segment therapy, various techniques are applied to address the changes in the individual layers of the body surface, thus treating the respective disorder.
The treatment is conducted without lubricants and is perceived as a gentle therapy.

How many treatments are necessary?

Depending on the issue and the patient's reaction, a treatment series (e.g., 10 sessions at intervals of about 1 week) is usually agreed upon. A treatment typically lasts 50 minutes.

What side effects may occur?

Due to the applied stimulus, there is increased blood circulation in the assigned segment. Possible effects include tingling, a feeling of warmth, and increased sweating.
As a sign of the harmonization of the autonomic nervous system, an increased need for sleep may be observed immediately or later (2-3 hours after the treatment).
