Covid-19 PCR Test
The PCR test using a nasal or throat swab (gold standard) is currently the safest and most reliable test to diagnose a Corona infection in its early stages.
A swab is taken from the nasal or throat area, and this sample is specifically tested for the virus RNA.
The PCR test is useful
- to determine an active infection
- to detect an infection in the early stages of illness, even before the onset of symptoms
The test is specific, meaning that positive results are considered reliable. Therefore, the PCR test is recommended by health authorities. The swab is taken at the TRINICUM Center for Integrative Medicine and Pain Therapy under safe conditions and the highest hygiene standards.
Since November 2022, TRINICUM has additionally offered a PCR analysis for influenza viruses alongside the PCR analysis for coronaviruses. The two results provide information on whether one is currently infected with Corona or the flu.

You will receive the test result from us via email. To increase the reliability of the test result, a second swab is recommended at least 24 hours apart.
